Religious Ed Registration


2018-2019 Class Information:


Please note:  All classes offered are based on the number of catechists who volunteer to teach a specific grade and day.  If you would like to volunteer as a catechist, please contact the FFE Office, 581-3304, Ext. 123, with any questions you may have.


Eucharist – Level 1 : We begin the two-year preparation for the reception of First Eucharist and First Reconciliation.    Level 1 Classes will take place monthly on specific Mondays from 5:00 – 6:00 PM.


Eucharist – Level 2: Preparation for the immediate reception of First Eucharist and First Reconciliation will consist of weekly classes for these children. Classes are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 5:00 – 6:00 pm and on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.  Students must complete Level 1 prior to enrolling in Level 2.


Confirmation Level 1:   We begin the two-year preparation for the reception of Confirmation.  Weekly classes will be offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 5:00 – 6:00 pm and on Wednesday evening 7:00 – 8:00 pm.  No on-line classes permitted.


Confirmation Level 2 -: Weekly classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm and Wednesday evening 7:00 pm.- 8:00 pm.   No on-line classes permitted.


Confirmation Prep: There will be a special schedule for the immediate preparation for Confirmation which includes attending a Retreat, going to Reconciliation and Rehearsals. Students must complete both Level 1 and Level 2 prior to Confirmation.


Grades 3 – 5: Weekly classes are being offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday 7:00 – 8:00 pm.


FAMILY PROGRAM: Our parent/child program will be offered again this year.   The parent will attend a meeting in the auditorium while the child attends class.  This program will be held on Mondays from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.  It is only open to families with children in Grades 3 – 5.


SUMMER SESSION:  Students in Grades 3 – 5 only may attend a one-week program in August.  There will be two sessions:  August 6 – 10 and August 20 – 24.   The class will run from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and be held in the auditorium.  No more than 100 children may be enrolled and that will be based on the number of catechists who volunteer to teach.  No absences allowed.


MASS ATTENDANCE:   We expect our families to attend Mass regularly. Every child enrolled in St. Mary’s Religious Education program must attend a minimum of 20 Masses during the school year.  The student must place the Mass Coupon in the Collection Basket to record they were at Mass. 


On-Line Option:  This will only be approved by special request.  The lessons must be completed between the October – June school year and will be tracked on–line.   


Special Needs:   Every child is welcome to participate in our Religious Education program.  If your child has special needs that would not be met in one of the options offered, please call the FFE Office to discuss how we can work together to accommodate your child’s needs.



WE ARE NOT MAILING FORMS HOME THIS YEAR.  They may be downloaded from the bottom of this page.  There are two pages:  Registration Information and Payment form.   You may mail them or drop them off at the FFE Office in the White House.  If the office is closed, please leave them in the white mail box outside the door.
