Would you be interested in joining the Consolation Ministry?
The Consolation Ministry supports the grieving members of our parish as they deal with the loss of their loved one.
Different ways to volunteer:
Meet with the family to plan the funeral liturgy.
Bake and deliver a cake to the bereaved family.
Prepare booklets for funeral mass.
Serve at the funeral mass as lector, greeter, altar server or Eucharistic minister.
Call the family after a few weeks to offer support and encouragement.
Participation in the Ministry of Consolation is flexible, based on your availability.
If you have a gift to share with our parish family through this meaningful ministry, or for more information, please contact: Mary Kratchman 631-813-7258 or call 631-581-4266 Ext 100.
